Kuehne + Nagel has signed an agreement to transport temperature-sensitive products for pharmacutical giant AstraZeneca from Europe to the rest of the world. The logistics firm will take products from AstraZeneca production sites in the UK, Sweden, France, Italy and Germany, to production sites and regional distribution centres in the Middle East, Japan, Africa and the USA by air and sea.
These include Oncology and anaesthetics products, as well as active pharmaceutical ingredients. Kuehne
+ Nagel declined to comment on how long the contract will last for, or how much it is worth.
