Abbey Roadtanks, which operates from Liverpool and Hull, as well as a number of locations in the South East, has placed an order for 35 6x2 Daf tractor units with Imperial Commercials.
Five of the trucks
are FTP CF85.460 and 30 are FTP XF105.410 and all have the lightweight second axle wheel.
Abbey Roadtanks currently has an all Daf fleet of over 100 units. 17 of the new trucks are additions to the fleet and 18 are replacements. No one from Abbey Roadtanks was available to explain the company's decision to stick with Daf.
