A tractor unit and three trailers were destroyed in a fire at an industrial estate in Maldon, Essex in the early hours of Saturday morning. Three fire engines were called to the Quayside industrial estate at 4am on 8 September and took about an hour to control the blaze.
The Environment Agency was called in during the incident because 13,000 litres of diesel and 2,500 litres of hydraulic oil went into the water course through the drains. An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place.
