Daf has made some revisions to its CF range, which it will be previewing at October's RAI Show in Amsterdam. It has made several improvements to its construction range, most notably introducing a new off-road-specific version of the 12-speed AS-Tronic automated manual transmission. Other changes include the addition of new steps, which it says will be less susceptible to damage.
Driver comfort has been considered too, with an optional new mattress. It features springs rather than foam, and Daf claims it is "the best bed in the industry". Meanwhile, a roll-up window shade on the driver's side will come as standard from early 2008, as will a new double-curtain in CF sleeper cabs. The CF sleeper cab has been updated externally too, and can now be ordered with XF-style xenon skylights in the roof.
