M-B Vito gets out and about for coffee and lunch

04 October 2007

Mobile coffee franchise Cafe2U has taken delivery of another Mercedes-Benz Vito 109 CDI Long, the 24th it has purchased since launching in the UK two years ago. Managing director Tom Acland says the Vito has been chosen because it is seen as "the perfect accompani-ment to Cafe2U's own corporate image". He says appearance, comfort, safety and low operating costs are all important, as are the twin sliding side doors.

The latest addition to the fleet is being operated by Belfast-based franchisee  Jeff Peters. Another caterer to show its commitment to the Mercedes-Benz brand is Pret A Manger, which has just taken delivery of five new refrigerated Vitos. The vans, which have been supplied by Seven Asset Management, have been converted by specialist fridge body builder Paneltex.

They are fitted with Seven's Asset Track satellite tracking system and will be supported at each of its retail outlets by its fridge vehicle fleet management package.
