Kögel will be equipping all semi-trailers from the MAXX range with a reinforced rear underrun protection as a standard feature. This will meet the EU Directive, which comes into force in 2010, that stipulates that in the future an underrun protection on the rear of commercial vehicles should withstand double the force withstood until now.
At the same time,
Kögel is introducing a new rear design with a division of the light bracket and underrun protection. This enables the new light bracket to be replaced independently from the underrun protection if damaged. The new, attractive light bracket is made of impact-resistant plastic.
