Scarborough, North Yorks-based Murray Brown & Son has taken delivery of a Hino 700 Series 8x4 tipper. The 700 Series is fitted with a Townend tipping body and Harsh underfloor tipping equipment. It will be used to carry lime and aggregates from a quarry near Scarborough to locations in the Hull, Teesside and York area.
Murray Brown & Son director Mel Brown, who ordered the vehicle at this year's Tip-Ex
event, says: "It has been on the road continually since its arrival and we are looking to order a second identical truck any day now. "What's more, the driver is really pleased with the responsive operation of the 700 Series and its cab design."
The vehicle was purchased from Haverton Trucks, a division of North East Truck & Van, which is the franchised Hino dealer in Billingham and Blaydon.
