Edinburgh-based RD Anderson Haulage has purchased a Daf CF85 eight-wheeler with an extendable body and high-capacity crane.
The vehicle is powered by the 12.9-litre MX producing 360hp and 1,775Nm of torque between 1,000 and 1,410rpm. Its 28-foot flatbed body is from Kingswells Bodybuilders of Aberdeen
and sits behind the 60tm Palfinger PK 60,000 crane with an outreach of 13.7m and a load capacity of 12 tonnes.
The vehicle was supplied by Lothian Daf of Edinburgh.
