£100,000 worth of perfume is stolen from truck

23 October 2007

More than £100,000 worth of perfume was stolen from a truck in Worcester last week, and police believe they may have traced it in Manchester.

West Mercia police have yet to confirm that the Givenchy and Guerlain perfume they found are from the Worcester theft - a spokesman says the perfume was probably taken to be sold as gifts in the run up to Christmas.

The perfume, which was intended for Boots, was taken from a curtainsider parked overnight in Wainwright Road, Worcester.
