European supply-chain specialist Wincanton has won a 10-year contract to manage the transportation and warehousing of part of Carlsberg UK's range. About a million cases of Carlsberg's wines, spirits and third-party beers will be covered by the contract which will be based at Billingham, Teeside. Wincanton will operate a next-day delivery service to Carlsberg customers.
