Pre-tax profit at the Ellistown, Leicestershire-based pallet network was £616,874, compared with £208,156 in the previous 12-month period. Operating profit rose to £649,538 from £212,741.
During this time, the company's accounting reference date was changed from July to January. A spokesman for Pall-Ex was unavailable for comment as MT went to press.
