The Czech Republic announced last week that it will allow Kögel's over-length semi-trailer on its roads, and the trailer-maker is optimistic that other European countries will follow suit.
Commenting on the Big-MAXX, which is 130cm longer than a regular trailer, a Kögel spokesman says: "German trials have proved it to be manoeuvrable, stable and profitable for operators, as well as offering huge environmental benefits. There is absolutely no reason why this concept can't be rolled-out across Europe."
