Business Post's palletised freight operation UK Pallets is predicting growth of more than 10% per year from 2007 to 2010. To cater for this, a multi-million-pound investment in infrastructure will expand its fleet, warehousing, IT and network capability. As part of the programme, UK Pallets began an extensive fleet renewal process with the delivery this month of 30 Scanias. The 30 trucks comprise 13 tractor units and 17 18-tonne rigids with curtainsider bodies and tail-lifts.
