Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has just one last hurdle to clear before it can complete the acquisition of UK logistics firm Christian Salvesen.
It received clearance for the takeover from the European Commission last week now it just needs the final thumbs up from the Scottish competition authorities - as Salvesen is registered in Scotland - which is expected by the end of the week.
ND is paying 92p per share, which values the company at £254.4m. It will have a combined fleet of some
8,000 trucks and a turnover of €2.9bn.
