Lloyd Fraser Group has signed a four-year contract to collect and distribute milk for Cadbury Trebor Bassett. The operation will be based at Lloyd Fraser's dairy services subsidiary at an existing site in Devizes, Wiltshire.

Lloyd Fraser will be responsible for transporting milk from 63 contracted producers to Cadbury's Marlbrook processing plant in Herefordshire. The firm has had a long association with Cadbury thanks to its portfolio of other milk distribution contracts, but this is its  first venture as a direct service partner.

Mike Faye, operations director at Lloyd Fraser, says: "This really is great news for our group and a logical next step in the relationship. "Cadbury is the premier international brand for chocolate and confectionary products and to become its logistics contractor of choice in their direct supply sector represents a significant opportunity for the company."
