MX Onboard, which is part of the Wordsworth Holdings family, has denied it is in trouble and instead says it has adjusted its strategy to focus on Fruehauf customers. MX Onboard had been trying to take market share from PM Onboard and win business with Wilcox and Weightlifter bodybuilders.
Sources close to the company had suggested it had closed, but Wordsworth chairman Duncan Wordsworth insists it has just taken a different tack. "We'd taken on four people to tackle PM, but it didn't work so they have been made redundant. Instead we've decided to view MX as an in-house product for Fruehauf trailers," he says.
