Women working in the road transport industry have just two weeks left to enter the inaugural Everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards. Backed by Skills for Logistics and supported by Motor Transport, the awards "will shine the spotlight on role models who smash any preconceived ideas that the industry is a place where only men can make it to the top," says Everywoman co-founder Maxine Benson.
There are seven categories, covering warehousing, driving, customer service, and training. Entrants can self-nominate or be nominated by a colleague. The deadline for entry is 31 March. Go to the Everywoman website for further information.
