Eagle Couriers through Scottish security clearance

Wednesday 19 March 2008 12:00

The Government Car and Despatch Agency (GCDA), part of the Department for Transport, has launched a same-day courier service under its Government Mail service for councils, police forces, health authorities and wider public services. Eagle has won approval to work with GCDA, meaning its workers are security-cleared to the same level as Government Mail's own staff.

Meanwhile, Eagle has also been approved as a preferred supplier by Scotland Excel, which helps Scotland's 32 councils find trusted suppliers. Jerry Stewart, a director at Eagle, says: "We now have a chance to impress public services across Scotland and a great opportunity to further enhance our business."
