Vauxhall is to expand its core conversion range with the launch of a Luton-bodied Movano at this year's CV Show. Built by Aluvan of Bruges, Belgium, the aluminium body has an integrated rear frame to accept a tail-lift and comes with a load volume of 17.2m3. Payload is a competitive 1,358kg.
Power comes from the company's 2.5CDTi engine producing 99, 119 and 144hp with prices starting at £23,135 for the 99hp an electrically operated Ratcliff tail-lift is a £2,750 option.
Also making their debuts on the Vauxhall stand are the Black Edition concept vehicles, which build on the success of the Sportive range. The Corsavan, Astravan and Vivaro all come with unique chequered livery, uprated alloy wheels, and numerous sporting adornments.
Vauxhall has announced a revised service and maintenance plan that allows for budgeting thanks to set monthly payments. As well as routine servicing it covers wear and tear on components such as disc and drum brakes, clutches, steering joints, shock absorbers, exhaust and wiper blades.
The set monthly payment for the Corsavan, Combo and Astravan is £29.99 [ex-VAT] while for the Movano and Vivaro it is £31.99 [ex-VAT]. Available on vehicles purchased from authorised Vauxhall retailers, the plan is applicable for the first three years or 60,000 miles of ownership.
