The arrival of the Lander eight-legger rounds off Renault's UK construction chassis line-up. The 'mixer-spec' 8x4 on show in Birmingham had a 370hp DXi11 engine (a 410hp version is also available) and a 16-speed manual gearbox. Optidriver
is an option. Compared with the heavy-duty Kerax 8x4, the equivalent Lander is 700kg lighter and is aimed squarely at aggregate, mixer (it comes with a factory-fitted mixer drive) and bulker work. The three-step cab sits up nice and high.
