Cheshire-based Ray's Transport has added three new Volvo FH-480 articulated trucks to its 10-strong fleet. The Euro 4, 44-tonne units come with Globetrotter XL cabs and I-Shift automated transmission. "With over 27 years in the haulage industry I have seen a number of costly problems with manual transmission systems," says Ray Duckworth, managing director. "However, as all my newer vehicles have the I-Shift system, they have been fantastic and, more importantly, problem-free."
