The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has written to Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly asking her to publish a consultant's report on longer, heaver vehicles (LHVs) alongside the impending transport policy green paper. In the letter, FTA chief executive Theo de Pencier says he is "frustrated" by the delay in publishing the report and it would be "wholly wrong" if the role of LHVs were excluded from the debate on future transport policy.
