CitySprint has acquired South Norfolk courier firm 24/7 Dispatch, for an undisclosed sum. Neil Leedham, CitySprint's regional manager for Central East, tells MT: "We approached 24/7 as we had been looking for an acquisition target that would enable us to grow and expand in the Norwich area."
The 23-vehicle firm was set up nine years ago by brothers Jim and Rick Jackson, who will remain on board to manage the operation. Dropping the 24/7 name, the business is now known as CitySprint's Norwich ServiceCentre. CitySprint's last acquisition was Axa Courier Express, in October.
