10,000 foreign trucks involved in UK accidents

An accident management firm claims 9,800 foreign registered trucks are caught up in crashes on British roads each year. Accident Exchange, using its own data, says accidents involving overseas lorries cost the UK nearly £52m annually. It calculates that 46% of incidents involving foreign lorries occur on motorways, with the M25 accounting for about 42% of that figure.
