The chief executive of Skills for Logistics (SfL), Ian Hetherington, has taken early retirement in order to pursue other interests, after nearly 14 years' service. "While I am very sad to be leaving SfL, I am confident that the business is in the hands of an outstanding team who will take the organisation successfully through the next important stages of development," says Hetherington.
Dr. Mick Jackson has been appointed as interim chief executive, with a replacement expected to be announced in the autumn. SfL is due to enter the relicensing process later this year, in order to retain its Sector Skills Council licence.
