The Commercial Trailer Association (CTA) is warning of a scam after it received a mail-shot that seemed to offer free representation in directory The European City Guide.
The CTA was asked to confirm its address and return the document, however, close inspection of the small print revealed a charge of €987 for the entry. "Worse still, if one signs the document, it will be taken as a repeat order annually, until actively stopped," says CTA secretary Robin Dickeson.
