Maxilead Metals buys Volvo FM hook-loader

06 June 2008

A Manchester-based metal recycling firm says vehicle reliability is the key reason it has added a ninth Volvo to its fleet. Tyldesley operator Maxilead Metals has just taken on a Volvo FM hook-loader to cope with extra workload generated by the expansion of its business, including state-of-the-art recycling equipment.

Chairman peter Clay says: "I only buy quality, reliable trucks and plant." The latest vehicle is a Volvo FM-400 8x4 and is plated at 32 tonnes. It was purchased from  local dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials.
