Greenhous hires new apprentice

Monday 21 July 2008 12:00

Midlands truck dealer Greenhous Commercials has taken on the first of three apprentices for 2008. Stewart Simmons-Lockley, 16, recently started his career as a commercial vehicle technician. "Greenhous has always been committed to training a proportion of its technical teams from scratch," says service manager Wayne Fletcher.

"Businesses can't expect to take skilled, experienced staff from the UK workforce without making a contribution to training some of them. We're pleased to provide opportunities for local youngsters who will form the backbone of our business in the future." Greenhous supplies and maintains Daf trucks and LDV vans.
