Volvo has cemented its place in the fleet of North Yorkshire mushroom compost haulier SW Adamson with an order for two new FH16-660s that takes the company's total fleet to eleven. "We specify the FH16-660 because they're on top of the job," says owner Stuart Adamson.
"You have to control your costs and they give good fuel economy, there's no need for the driver to thrash them, and they take everything in their stride. They have I-Shift, which is absolutely brilliant and, with the high horsepower, there's even less gear changing, therefore less stress on the vehicles and drivers."
