Fortec aims for 15-20% growth in 2009

02 September 2008

Despite tough market conditions, Fortec Pallet Network plans growth of 15-20% in 2009.

Speaking at Fortec's annual conference, managing director Rod Abrahams told members that "Fortec means business" and has ambitious growth targets for next year. He added that the plans would create a more "robust and sales-driven" network.

Fortec reported a 16% increase in pallet volumes in 2007, and this year's volumes are currently  14% up on last year's.

Abrahams says: "We want to maximise our strengths as a network and will be investing in a number of value-added benefits and to grow the business to its true potential."

Over the next 12 months Fortec plans to invest in IT, domestic and international sales, product development and marketing.
