Electric vehicles: good or bad? That's the question TNT Express Services UK & Ireland will answer at MT's Fifth Fleet Management Conference in November. Neil Griffiths, director of health, safety and environmental, and Steve Davis, national engineering manager, will reveal how they decided what vehicles to procure, the infrastructure changes needed to run them and TNT's drivers' reactions.
TNT already has more than 50 (of a 100-strong order) 7.5t Smith Electric Newtons operating on UK roads.
