Six courier firms have been chosen to carry out collection and delivery services for government departments under a new £150m four-year framework agreement.
City Sprint, DX Group, Government Car and Despatch Agency, Royal Mail Group, TNT UK and E-Courier UK will provide a mixture of local, national, same day, next day, and international deliveries under the Logistics and Courier Services framework.
TNT UK and DX Group will handle the secure collection and delivery of valuable goods,
while TNT UK will also handle the secure transit, storage and destruction of seized goods. There is an option for the frameworks to be extended for 12 months.
