Denmark introduces zones similar to the LEZ

Denmark introduced environmental zones similar to the London low-emission zone (LEZ) on 1 September. Trucks travelling into Copenhagen and Frederiksberg will have to meet Euro-3 standards.

On 1 February 2009, Aalborg will also be included amd Aarhus will join on 1 January 2010. From 1 July 2010, trucks will need to meet Euro-4 standards.
