Triple A Transport experiences rapid growth

23 September 2008

Triple A Transport has completely filled its new warehouse in Tilbury, which it moved into earlier this year, and has now taken on a further warehouse following a contract win. Richard Newbold, Triple A's MD, tells MT: "One of our existing customers had a new opening for us. One of their divisions makes cartons for the healthcare industry and they asked us to do a pick-and-pack operation for this side of the business.

"As we'd already filled our 25,000ft² warehouse, we have had to  take on additional premises in East Tilbury." The new warehouse is 6,800ft² and Newbold anticipates that the firm may need to take over the building next door as well, which is 11,000ft².

"Our Pall-Ex business remains steady and we are in the process of revamping our return loads website," says Newbold. "We are planning to turn it into a subscription service rather than operators having to search for loads in their area, they will be alerted every time a load comes up in their region." Triple A has also leased three Daf 105 tractor units from Hanbury Riverside as part of a vehicle upgrade.
