DSV has acquired Norwegian freight forwarder Unicargo for an undisclosed sum. The deal is subject to approval by the Norwegian competition authority. Unicargo specialises in road freight forwarding to Eastern Europe and Turkey, and has revenue of NOK52m (£4.9m) and pre-tax profits of
NOK3.5m. DSV intends to integrate the company into its Norwegian road division and expects the operational changes to be completed within two years.
