Removals firm White & Company is trialling a set of Michelin XDN2 grip tyres on its new Scania drawbar unit. The firm moved to a full Michelin tyre policy three years ago, explains White's fleet manager Roger Brown. The company is now testing the new tyres, which claim to provide extra grip in difficult driving conditions.
White runs 160 trucks across the UK. The new Scania will do regular trips between the firm's Bournemouth warehouse and properties in Spain and Mallorca. It will
clock up around 100,000km per year.
