History in the taking for museum expedition

Friday 31 October 2008 12:00

Two Iveco Eurocargo 4x4s have played a crucial role in the success of a British Museum archaeology recovery project in Sudan.

The expedition involved the transfer of more than 50 works of cave art dating from between 5,000 BC and AD 1,500, as well as 390 blocks of an early Kushite granite pyramid.

Iveco equipped both Eurocargos appropriately: one with a six-tonne crane providing a reach of three metres, and the other with a steel-reinforced, three-way tipping body.
