Following the launch of its fuel-efficient accreditation programme for agency drivers last month, Driver Hire has turned its attention to home-delivery drivers. The agency aims to improve the customer communication skills of home-delivery drivers through its new multi-drop and home-delivery course.
Chief executive Chris Chidley says: "If goods are ordered on the phone or internet, the driver will be the only person in the buying process that the customer meets."
It is hoped the training will make drivers more friendly and understanding.
