Parcelnet plans new hub and head office

18 November 2008

Parcelnet has unveiled plans to open a purpose-fitted hub in Nuneaton, Warwickshire by mid-2009, creating 100 jobs, as part of a major investment in its UK facilities over the next six months.

The courier network says the hub will absorb volumes from its existing facilities in Bradford and Peterborough, becoming the central access point for its home delivery operation.

In addition, plans are currently under  way for a new head office building in Leeds. Parcelnet hopes to move from its current head office in Bradford in mid-2009.

Last month, the courier network opened a 38,000ft2 depot in Weybridge to handle projected growth in London and the South-East.
