The administrators of Milbank Trucks, the Essex-based crane specialist that was placed into administration on 4 November (MT 13 November), remain confident they will be able to sell the business as a going concern.
A statement from KPMG says that they "have been contacted by several interested parties and are hopeful of concluding a sale shortly".
The 110-truck haulier was set up in 1984 and is the largest operator of crane-equipped vehicles in the UK, with an annual turnover of £14m. It was placed into administration following the collapse of its largest customer and sister company, Milbank Floors.
