Mitsubishi's fleet of 10 Canter Eco Hybrids, currently on a three-year trial with eight high-profile companies, are set to receive an intense period of monitoring via high-tech software called Eco-Pro.
Mike Mudie, UK Fuso Canter product manager, says: "Based in Japan, the monitoring will look at fuel consumption, battery charging and stop-starting habits to assess these vehicles in their everyday environment."
Companies trialling the vehicles are DHL, Tesco, TNT, Royal Mail, Ringway,
Amey, Banner Office Equipment and Scottish and Southern.
