A Czech HGV driver has been jailed and received a three-year driving ban after ramming into cars on the M1 Northbound.
Today (Monday 22 December), lorry driver Vitezslav Labounek was sentenced to 15 months in prison and disqualified from driving for three years for dangerous driving and criminal damage.
Derby Crown Court heard how Labounek rammed three cars between Junctions 26 and 33 in the 50mph zone on 28 August.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and three counts of criminal damage with life-endangering recklessness.
