Langdons chairman retires from role

02 January 2009

Mike Donoghue has retired from his role as company chairman at temperature-controlled transport specialist Langdons.

Donoghue stepped down as managing director of the firm in 2006 after 26 years in the role but retained his position on the board of directors. He was replaced as MD by Aaron Osman at the beginning of 2007.

Starting at the Somerset-based company in 1980, Donoghue led a management buyout (MBO) from former owner TKM in 1986. In  2004, the business was sold to the Nagel Group.
