Wincanton Records Management has opened a secure records storage facility in Scotland. The purpose-built site at the Centralpoint Elite Logistics Park in Motherwell has 53,000 sq ft of secure storage space and incorporates security and fire-protection technology.
Jon Fowler, Wincanton Records Management managing director, says the site in Scotland is the result of increased customer demand.
Wincanton's record management
division has customers in the healthcare, government, travel, banking and financial services sectors and offers hard copy document storage, media storage, high security vaults, records disposal and records management consultancy.
A Wincanton spokesman adds: "The new site forms part of Wincanton's national expansion plan for its records management business."
