A petition has been set up for lorry drivers and transport operators supporting the use of Orwell Crossing Lorry Park during Operation Stack on the A14.
Suffolk councils and the county police force are desperately searching for a permanent solution to the parking and congestion headache that occurs when Felixstowe Port is forced to close in poor weather.
