Edinburgh considers consolidation centre

Edinburgh City Council has revealed it is in the early stages of considering a congestion-busting plan that includes a consolidation centre.

A spokesman for the council says there is no official plan at present, but officials are looking at the option of a consolidation centre to reduce the number of trucks and vans delivering into the Princes Street shopping area.
