GE-BE Transport gets flagship Renault Premium

Friday 20 February 2009 14:59

GE-BE Transport has purchased a Euro-5 6x4 Renault Premium 450.25. The company's latest acquisition joins its existing 20-truck mixed fleet of Scanias and DAFs.

The flagship Renault Premium will be used on general haulage and pallet deliveries across the UK. GE-BE director Carl Green says: "We decided to purchase the Renault because we've been running one since 2007 and it's been reliable and fuel efficient. Also, Renault offered us the best deal and we only had to wait one month to get it."

The King's Lynn, Norfolk-based haulier purchased the vehicle through Thompson Commercials in Boston, Lincoln.

Green adds: "The DAFs and Renaults we run all use SCR, and because they're running 24-hours a day, we've installed an AdBlue tank at our premises for convenience and to minimise downtime."
