Haulier Jack Richards and Son is offering a £5,000 reward to catch thieves who made away with 25 pallets of chocolate from its yard in Lostock, Cheshire.
The Fakenham, Norfolk-based firm is offering the cash reward in response to the theft on 2 March. Thieves raided the yard on Griffiths Road and stole a load of Boost and Bounty bars valued at £100,000.
Security staff saw a tractor unit making a getaway at 9.40pm and the firm believes the thieves slipped into the compound unnoticed behind lorries coming in to load up.
Company spokesman Peter Brown says: "We are not going to take this lying down because it could affect our relationship with customers and we could lose business."
