East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) has named Pall-Ex's Hilary Devey as Businesswoman of the Year in its Women of Worth (WOW) awards.

Devey, the owner and CEO of Leicestershire-based pallet network Pall-Ex,  received the accolade on 5 March in a ceremony at Pride Park Stadium, Derby.

The WOW awards have been designed to recognise female role models who also make a contribution to the East Midlands economy.

Devey was previously named Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in November 2008.
