TfL has published its latest compliance figures for the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ). A total of 97% of Phase One trucks - HGVs over 12 tonnes - are compliant with the emissions standards of the scheme, while 94% of Phase Two vehicles - diesel trucks over 3.5 tonnes - are now compliant.
Overall, 27,276 low-emission and reduced-pollution certificates have been issued, including 9,450 vehicles fitted with particulate filters. Earlier this year, Mayor of London Boris Johnson announced the scrapping of Phase Three of the LEZ, which would have included LCVs up to 3.5 tonnes.
